Our major fundraiser for the year has come and gone and we are so happy to announce that we have raised $12 000 for the Ken Wood Scholarship Fund. These funds will allow us to continue our scholarship program for 2014.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the people involved in helping stage the event: those who gave generously of their time; those who donated prizes for the raffles and auction; those who donated directly; and those who bought seats or tables at the event.
The night was our best to date and special mention must go to our current and past students, Georgia Cupples, Michael Meyer, Dylan Coles, Nick Zischke and Sahara Beck for providing world class entertainment on the night and those students who helped with the bar, set-up and pack-down.
