The official grand opening of the building at 38 Berwick Street took place on Saturday 7 March 2015.
The MIC community were joined by members of Powderfinger and Violent Soho who officially opened the building.
There were special performances from past student, Thelma Plumb and current student Clay Cassar-Daley and his father, Troy Cassar-Daley.
